Terms of Use

Remember Me: Keepsake — effective 2026-07-02

By downloading, installing, or using Remember Me: Keepsake ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. License

Remember Me is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Use (Apple's standard EULA at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under that EULA.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of every memory, entry, photo, note, voice recording, or reflection you create in Remember Me. We do not claim any rights in your content. Because your content is stored locally and in your own iCloud, we do not have the ability to access, view, or use it.

3. Optional AI features

Remember Me includes optional features that connect to third-party AI providers using an API key you supply. You are responsible for compliance with the AI provider's terms of service, and for any costs incurred under your account. We do not warrant the accuracy, appropriateness, or safety of AI-generated content.

AI reflections are not therapy, medical advice, or professional grief support. If you are struggling, please contact a licensed professional.

4. Subscriptions

Any subscriptions offered within the App are billed by Apple through the App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Because your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud account, we cannot recover data lost due to device failure, iCloud sync issues, or your own deletions. Back up regularly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of your use of the App.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.
